Fun Things to Do on Potomac Maryland Real Estate Market in October

It’s hard to believe we’re nearly in the month of October.  Already I’m seeing stores advertise for Halloween and even Thanksgiving decorations!  Where has this year gone?

The Old Seneca Artisan’s Festival: During the second annual Old Seneca Artisan’s Festival, families can enjoy view the works of local artists.  Other activities at this popular event include a wine tasting, kids activities, farm tours, food vendors, live music and more!

Nature Exhibit: At the Exhbition of Glen Echo Park History, representatives from the National Park Service will present photographs, memorabilia and artifacts from the amusement era of the park. This is a great way to teach your children the importance of history while having fun in the process!

Community Play: Bring the entire family to this performance of the play, “Aladdin’s Luck,” in Bethesda, MD.  The premise of the play is that a street urchin named Aladdin falls for Princess Leilah when they meet at a bazaar.  With the help of a magical genie, Aladdin tries to win over the princess. This play is recommend for children over the age of 4.

  • When: 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., now through Oct. 30
